I think this was our local backyard birds for their last stop on our red jewel salvia and the feeder, a female and a young male possibly with a light 'shadow' around his neck. They stopped and perched various places for a good look. Then they looked at their little calendars and I haven't seen them since, interestingly same day in September as 2014!
