Over the past 10 days, I've collected approx 50 caterpillars in various stages of instar (mostly lst). 18 have just gone into chrysalis. I don't believe the adult(s) who laid the eggs are part of the migration, though, since there have been 1-2 adults around the flower beds all summer. I think it's likely they are some I released in the Spring.
