Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/20/2015

Number: 3

I was watching the yard for Monarchs and at 9:02am three of them fluttered into the garden. I suspect they were 3 of the 6 I saw here last evening. It is currently 56 degrees and partly sunny. The wind is 6 miles from the S/SE. One Monarch feed on white Cosmos and has now moved to New England Aster. The other two Monarchs fed briefly and left the yard. The Asters still have fresh blooms but not nearly as many as a week ago. I don't know how these Monarchs are ever going to get to Mexico with continuing Southerly winds.
