While travelling between Westfield Heritage Village and Maidstone we spotted 2 flying southwest along Highway 8 just outside Cambridge around 4:30PM about 1 minute apart. We spotted another 2 about 5 seconds apart flying on the verges of Highway 401 just east of kilometer marker 140 in the later afternoon headed southwest. The most curious was just prior to the Bloomfield Road exit for Chatham, we spotted two heading south about 30 seconds apart over the 401 just above commercial truck height in an area with an excessive amount of industrial wind turbines prior to sunset at approximately 6:50 PM. I would be interested to find out what effect these monstrous guillotines have on Monarchs as I have personally witnessed a Turkey Vulture being struck by one. (he appeared to recover and kept flying)
