3 ruby throated females or juveniles spotted this morning shortly after first light. Feeding on black & blue salvias and pink Wendy's Wish salvias as well as the nectar feeders. Haven't been able to watch the hummers much last several days but it could be we've lost 6 or 7 to migration. Had an unusually small female juvenile show up last week that is still here. But she is gaining weight. Hope she makes it. When first seen she was about 1/2 the size of the other juveniles. Very small. Clear weather today. Temperature is 78. Wind is out of south-southeast 16 mph. Dew point 61 degrees.
