Spotted two flying From NE to SW today around 11:00am . Cloudy conditions with a very light S wind. The picture attached was taken at sunset around 730pm feeding off the butterfly bush. Flew into the neighbors trees to roost for the night. Several people today said they have spotted monarches this morning around Kansas City.

I have noticed that monarches finish their feeding each day at the butterfly bush. Has anyone else picked up on this? I wonder if different nectar has a varying effect on butterflies.
