80 degrees, wind 5-10 mph from the SSE daylight hours -- yet a steady migration of monarchs through my garden, dropping down to feed on zinnias, phox and asters and flying off to the SW. I noted an average of 1 every 10 min. from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. while working in the garden -- managed to tag a few in spite of the wind.
