Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/17/2015

Number: 1

Fifth grade students from Miss Holley's class were outside drawing this morning when they spotted a single monarch and two smaller white butterflies. The smaller insects flew on by, but the monarch stopped to feed at a butterfly bush near the front entrance of the school. We didn't get a photo of the butterfly, but we think the butterfly must have seen the sign welcoming him to our school's butterfly garden!
