6 hummers spotted this evening on or around feeders at same time around backyard feeders. Could be one or two more near feeders in front yard. So we lost 2 or 3 hummers to migration over the weekend. Very small hummer we've seen was last one to leave feeders at 7:28 p.m. Another one was really tanking up until about a minute before the little one left. Hummers still feeding on salvias. Partly cloudy sky this evening and temperature about 73 degrees. Slightly humid.
Hopefully some of these zippers will stick around until early October.
