Signs of Fall

Date: 09/21/2015

Number: 1

Earlier around noon I observed over 550+ Common Loon about 1.5 km out into the bay from the south shore. Their numbers should fluctuate in the coming weeks and begin to peak by mid October. This will also be a great time to look for Pacific Loon among the Common's as several individuals were observed at a time from mid to late October last year.
