Saw two female ruby throat hummers battling at the window feeder, several times today. They were much more aggressive than normal, probably because they're trying to wring every last drop from the feeders before they leave town.

Yesterday I believe we had 3 females here. That might mean one was a migrant, because we only had 2 matched pairs for the season.
