Number: 4

Peak Season has begun in Eastern Kansas. Since Sunday, the number of monarches have increased each day. Today after work (6:00pm) we had 4 feeding and fluttering in our backyard feeding on the butterfly bush. Mix of males and females all with great color and healthy wings. The number of sights should start to peak around the 29th or so based on previous years. Temp was 82 with a slight hint of humidity. winds out of the S 10 mph. Roost was spotted in neighbors tree too far away to get any numbers.
