Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/23/2015

Number: 8

1:56pm There have been 4 Monarchs feeding in the garden since this morning. A gentle rain started coming down a few minutes ago. Two of the Monarchs took shelter in the trees. The other two stayed on those asters until the rain was more steady then they headed to shelter. It is still warm and humid and there is no wind at present.

I went for a walk this a.m. and saw 4 Monarchs in a couple of the butterfly gardens around the neighborhood. They were feeding on false sunflower in one yard and Zinnias in another yard.
