We were sitting on our dock early in the afternoon of a sunny, breezy day. The temperature was about 68 degrees F. Monarchs were flying in a southwesterly direction across the lake at its narrowest point, one after another. We watched for about an hour. Several years ago we witnessed exactly the same thing, and we were so happy to be in the right place at the right time once again this year.
