Mrs. Spencer's class tagged and released 11 monarchs on September 11. Then we found 31 more eggs on September 14. We watched the larva hatch and eat their egg shells. We found 3 more larva in their 2nd instar on Friday, September 17. We' haven't had this many monarch caterpillars in over six years! It's so exciting!
