While in the garden cutting down spent plants, I had company. A monarch spent the entire four-plus hours on my Mexican Sunflowers. I kept on eye on her as I worked. When it began to drizzle and then rain, I walked over to the plants wondering if she'd left but no -- there she was in the rain. I never saw her leave.
