amazing to see these beautiful monarchs swirling together in the air, feeding on nectar at the many butterfly bushes and mating...they seemed to be photo bombing each other and the solitary Painted Lady as I furiously tried to capture their behaviors!! They were out in mass in the late afternoons which is when I saw them and absolutely wonderful to behold!
