Up until yesterday we had 3 females lingering in the vicinity and feeding regularly, today it appears we have two who're guarding the feeders quite aggressively. It is such a pleasure to observe their antics and a bit if reassurance that it's not quite winter yet... Hanging on to some of the final symbols of the lazy hazy days of summer. We miss them so much once they go, I already feel the loss of their greater numbers.
