Upon entering Point Pelee National Park & approaching the tip I observed on milkweed a 2nd Instar Cat. It was on the same plant I observed larvae prior last week. It remains in the park of course as nothing is to be removed from Par. It was on a deteriorating plant but there were healthy plants beside.
I was in the park to check on Monarch Butterflies. I checked all known roosting sights...not one to be seen. Favourable calm lake, warm temps & NE winds I believe those that have arrived of late have continued across the lake without stopping.
