Yesterday was the first day since April 15th that I didn't observe a RT hummingbird. While looking at a beautiful mauve/orange sky at sunset a hummer zipped by the window and went to the garden feeder. It was at 7:00pm, 70 degrees, wind ENE @ 8 MPH. It fed for a long time then went to the Hot Lips Salvia. She went to a branch to preen but soon gave chase to another hummer. Hope they stay for a bit.
