Approximately 10-12 times over the summer seen 4-5 adult individuals at a neighbor's feeder.
I'm not sure feeding hummers and bees empty sugar water is a wise or ethical practise. Honey producers gain monetarily (but the bee population is not healthy at this time). Possibly they should consider leaving more honey for winter feed.
Fewer hummers are sighted they have a long journey. Encouraging more and larger healthy flowering corridors along their flight path would be wonderful.
Lots of winter research considering maple or honey preparations, and long lasting flower selections.
Appreciate the sighting updates.
