Earlier this afternoon I saw two Monarchs feeding on Cosmos, phlox and New England Asters. The asters are largely past prime, the Cosmos still look great and the tall phlox are showing a small re-bloom. The Monarchs hung around for a short time and headed out in a Southerly direction. Later this afternoon I in a nature restoration area and saw a Monarch feeding on New England Aster.
