Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/25/2015

Number: 2

Poured rain all night and this morning the hummingbird population was reduced from 3-4 to only two. The resident juvenile male is still with us,visiting his favorite feeder often throughout the day. A female, which I believe to be a migrant, since I had not seen her before yesterday,is also still here. She also may be a juvenile, judging by her curiosity and the way she checks out all the flowers on my deck, like she's testing them to see if they are good for nectar or not.
