Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/25/2015

Number: 1

One hummingbird at our West side feeder under the Hawthorne tree, porky female, very calm, sipping off and on for over an hour, 7-8 a.m.
Evening, around 6:40 p.m., one female/juvenile? hummer sipping at East side feeder and checking out the seed puffs of the Joe Pye flowers. Again, very calm. Could not tell if it was the same one from morning. Will sure miss these little winged wonders when they finally make their journey south.
