Sep 23 under mostly clear skies during a hawk watch atop Moore's Knob in Hanging Rock State Park tallied the following critters.

54 Monarch, heading sw

this was over a 10.5 hour hawk watch, lower than usual years. After this long rainy cold front there should be a superflight of both monarchs and hawks. I will post again any updates. I will be tagging soon and have had days of tagging 100 plus and seeing thousands.
