Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/26/2015

Number: 2

Indian Summer in Michigan, our daytime temperatures are approximately 10 degrees higher than past years--which means mid 70's and our hummingbirds are staying a little longer. 5 hummer's yesterday, and there were 2 enjoying nectar and flowers this morning. Yesterday I cleaned and filled all our feeders--still 18 feeders in the habitat. Flowers in bloom: Black and Blue Salvia, Dicentria Scandens, Dicentria Luxuriant, Petunias, Blue Lobelia, Obedient Plants, Native Asters, Turtle Heads. Chinese Delphinium, Lantana, Hibiscus. One of my hummer's has been here all summer, she has a tiny spot in her breast--she's become so plump that I almost did not recognize her yesterday :-)
