As a proud member of a NWF Backyard Wildlife Habitat. it has been a wonder to watch but this year has been exceptional. Creatures from fall frogs singing to me, frogs living in my pond (one has been here for 5 years), to the birds, and all other manner of wildlife, what a joy. This has been the year of the warbler. I don't ever remember and after checking my journal, seeing so many varieties of warblers. Cedar Waxwings were plentiful as well, orioles stayed longer than usual and then to top it off, there was a chrysalis in my sue feeder. It has been fun to own a yard will so much diversity. Giving up a majority of my grass for the inhabitants of this yard has been well worth it.
