What an incredible year for hummingbirds, it was like star wars all summer long with the male rufous chasing each other. We had 5 feeders up with at least 2 to 3 rufous at each feeder and up to 5 or 6 at a time at a couple of feeders when the young ones were out. We still have a couple of hummers as of 9/26 feeding off flowers and feeders a month later usual.
