We still have a small number of Monarchs here, feeding on red clover in the hayfields. Today we saw just two. Earlier in the week we were seeing about 5 each day. The last day of large numbers of Monarchs feeding and roosting at night was Sept 18th. Cool and windy weather on Sept 19th and 20th may have caused them to move out. This past week we have had warm sunny afternoons of 21c+ but some nights have been quite chilly, dropping down to 4c on the 26th and 6c last night.
