two hummingbirds chasing each other; both kept returning to the garden, then chasing each other off again. This went on for several minutes; eventually, the dominant one came back to feed. One of the ones I saw looked like she had very nearly achieved her goal of doubling her weight - she was huge!!! (You know, huge for a hummingbird, anyway.)
