Two sets of mating monarchs were in my flower garden Sept. 19. They seemed healthy except for some wing edge damage on a male.
They landed on my pesticide free but scale damaged pyracantha bush. Mine is a registered Monarch Habitat garden. I hope they will lay eggs on my milkweed but I may have to rear them inside if we have an early freeze.
