I have two hummingbird feeders. I see 3-4 birds at each feeder throughout the day. They are constantly sparring at the feeder and it doesn't seem like they are actually drinking that much. I went to change the sugar water and the feeder was still half full. In the middle of the summer it would have been empty in two days. In the backyard, the hummingbirds are also sitting in the butterfly bush beside the feeder and eating from those flowers. In the front yard, they are resting in the camellia or crape myrtle between visits to the feeder.
