Monarchs at the tip in Point Pelee National Park. 11:30-12:30 It was warm, about 21/70 with calm SE Wind with occasional light drizzle. They were fluttering at tall treetop heights & higher (200') & continuing south southwest across Lake Erie. In about a 15 min period we observed a total of about 50, 1-2 at a time, head out over the lake over another 30 minutes observed another dozen, 1-2 at a time, arriving over water from the east & fluttering above the treetops in the interior of the point. We did not observe any nectaring on the beautiful full blossoms of purple aster. The goldenrod is past peak blossoming.
