I observed a juvenile at my window feeder today and apparently this one is hanging out here alone to fatten up. It was pooring rain and temp in high 70'sF as this baby drank away today. Keeping all my feeders clean and filled for this one as well as others that might be stopping by as they migrate south. Noticed a Baltimore Oriole at my hummingbird feeder as well and had never seen one here drinking nectar before, but up until recently it would not have been able to get a drink due to the dozens of hummingbirds living here. My summer residents left after a cold spell on Sept 13th.
