We had 9 monarchs visiting our garden this afternoon. I don't know if they were migrating or newly eclosed. They were around the A. encarnatas and the stick verbena and appeared quite healthy and fresh.

Nine at one time is a high for our garden for 2015. Of course several years back nine was a somewhat common number.
