2 hummingbirds calmly drinking from the same feeder at first light this morning. Then 1 perched in lilac tree for quite a few minutes. Saw 3 hummers yesterday evening so third one is probably around somewhere this morning. Roosting time for the evening yesterday was around 7:10 pm. This morning's sighting extends our hummer season 1 day longer than last year at this point. I assume these 3 will leave no later than this weekend.
But an October sighting for us would be nice.
