Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/30/2015

Number: 1

Only saw one hummingbird all day, which I think is probably the migrant that arrived yesterday. The two juveniles that have been defending the feeders must have headed south on a fine, sunny morning, after five and a half days of almost constant rain, often heavy. It seems very quiet around here without them! The remaining hummingbird is much quieter than the two that just departed. It also is much slimmer looking.
