Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/30/2015

Number: 3

Thought our hummers had left to go south today. Didn't see anything for awhile but then at about 5:10 saw one female on a nectar feeder. A little later a female came to feed on the salvias and got dive bombed by another hummer. These two started an air battle flying face to face flying backwards and forward as they spiraled around. Then as they buzzed past a feeder a third hummer was drinking on the feeder. Day was clear and cool with high in 60's. Low will be in 40's. Last hummer left to go roost about 7:10 pm. Hopefully we'll see some tomorrow.
