The temperature was 4 degrees last night so I brought the feeder in to keep the nectar warm. At 7 am when it started to get light, I put the feeder out. A female hummingbird was waiting. She puffed out her feathers and sat at the feeder filling up. It was still only 4 degrees at 7:40 am but lighter. She flew away at 7:48 am. She, or another female, has been coming to the feeder all week. Not many flowers left blooming.
