The monarch I reported yesterday (9-30-15) as roosting and who spent all of yesterday and all of today on my Mexican Sunflowers finally left. I actually saw him leave at 3:15 p.m. He fooled me quite a few times over the past two days. He'd fly off and return sometimes 15 minutes later. I think he was checking food selections at my neighbors' houses. But no one else has Mexican Sunflowers. At least, I saw him go. It was time. He looked very healthy.
