Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 10/02/2015

Number: 1

Saw a flutter outside my window and suspected falling leaves, but upon further review it was a fresh monarch (unsure of gender, but I think male). The monarch landed on an ash tree in the backyard and rested long enough for me to take a photo. I suspect the fresh butterfly was a late season larva that eclosed in my yard.
