Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/02/2015

Number: 2

Despite a week of clouds, no sun, rain, wind and cold, there are still 2 hummers here, a female and a juvenile, appearing at the feeders everyday. I leave them up, for transients, after the main body moves out every year around the 12th of Sept. Usually any that stay behind are gone in the following week but this year these 2 have stayed. I wonder if they are waiting for this weather to clear before departure?
