As of this morning I still had two, but I have only seen one all afternoon. She is a juvenile female, no signs of putting on fat for migration yet. Cold today. 57 degrees N winds. On Wednesday I had a young male arrive at the feeder just before 6:30 pm. He took several long sips and stayed at the feeder for awhile. Good size, just starting to get a little red throat feathers in. He was at the feeder yesterday morning at 7:45 am never saw him again after 10:30 that day. They arrive at my feeder between 7:45 and 8:am the past 4 days much later than a week ago. Cold 44 degrees then.
