We have had a beautiful day but cool. We took a drive this afternoon and were disappointed in the colour of the leaves. They should be a brilliant yellow and orange but have turned to a rusty colour. Even the reds are more drab.
Migrating birds are arriving everyday to their feeding spots under the lilac bush and huge evergreen tree.
Blackbirds are gathering in large flocks.
We have had heavy heavy frosts!!!
