The male hummingbird I saw today had the bright green/blue coat with a white collar. He was feeding at my side feeder. I threw a red shirt below the feeder to attract hummingbirds.
I have three separate hummingbird feeders around my house; each out of sight from the others.
I know that a male lives in a tree in the backyard (which has a feeder in it). I have seen this male feeding from the feeder as well as the pineapple sage nectar from the red flowers.
I am not sure if the bird I saw today (with the white collar) is the same one that lives in the tree at another feeder.
