One lone hummingbird feeding continuously from the feeder, even in the pouring rain. We had 2 earlier in the week but think those have now gone. This one appears to be a migrating straggler put down by the storms, resting up and filling up before she continues on her way. We are watching the maps for reports of sightings from our northern neighbors so we keep the feeders filled for any stragglers coming through.
