Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/03/2015

Number: 2

Husband saw 2 females this morning eating from our sage flowers under feeder. I observed Juvenile feeding at feeder at 6:30 pm for a long fill-up drink. Since our weather has cooled off highs 76-78 with lows 66 degrees their feathers are fluffed out more. Overcast this morning but sunny from noon on, slight breeze. Later in the week lows are suppose to get around 55 degrees. Due to the nights getting darker earlier their last feeding is around 7:15 pm. I am wondering if these cooler nights will push them South soon. Juvenile still appears on the thin side.
