I first noticed Monarchs Oct. 1st. and counted one every fifteen seconds. Have made counts on the 3rd. and 4th. and it remains about the same.

The winds were from the north Oct. 1st with temperatures dropping to a min. of 60 degrees at night with daytime max temps in the high 80's to low 90's. Rain is in the forecast for next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Sure appears to be an increase compared to last several years.
