A late-comer juvenile Ruby-throated Hummingbird was at the feeder this evening at 6 p.m. This is the first hummer here since Sept. 28. A gentle north-east wind may have provided the ride. Temps will be mild tonight (52 degrees F) to aide the little one on its urgent journey.
