At least three, maybe four, nectaring from flowers on our deck, chasing each other, and resting in nearby maple trees. At least one was jealously guarding the orange and red lantana, which the monarch butterflies (reported separately) were nectaring from. I had never seen a hummingbird challenge a butterfly before, but at least one was - very aggressively. I ran her off a couple of times to let the monarchs feed in peace.
